A rocket half full of water has a load fraction of 0.5 A rocket one third full has a load fraction of 0.33 A rocket one quarter full has a load fraction of 0.25 Load Fraction is the ratio of the water volume to the total volume of the motor. For example, if you put 0.8 liters of water in a 2-liter motor the load fraction is 0.4.
