The Two-Can rocket performance was predicted by computer simulation.

This chart shows the two-can motor performance.
Initial thrust is over 10 lbs, while its mass is about 1 pound.

This chart shows the performance of the rocket. Initial acceleration is over 300 ft/s2! Note the extreme negative acceleration following "burnout." This is a result of the low mass of the empty rocket and the high force due to drag.

The charts above were produce using our simulation program, water.c, and GNUPLOT on a LiNUX machine. The water.c code produces an output table which is included here:
